Premium Armco Barrier Rail & Armco Beams

Our range of Armco crash barrier beams are some of the best on the market, they are made from premium steel with a quality galvanised finish, preventing rust and corrosion for many years to come. The beams are one of the most critical parts of our Armco range because let’s face it, Armco posts on their own would not be much use!

We offer several configurations of corrugated Armco rail, these include set lengths as well as custom lengths and radiused sections for producing gradual smooth curves. This makes them exceptionally easy to install as you can get most lengths to suit your requirements, making installation faster and easier.

Armco barrier beams are one of the most cost-effective ways to protect buildings and assets from damage by vehicles in “non-highway” environments, this includes car parks, warehouses, factories and logistics hubs such as seaports. In these areas, Armco can be used to protect walkways and buildings to improve safety.

Key Features Of Our Armco Rails & Corrugated Beams

  • Always Hot Dipped Galvanised - Giving Exceptional durability and weather protection ensuring premature rusting is not an issue.
  • Available In Powder Coated Colours - Powder coating finishes are applied over the top of the standard galvanised steel finish.
  • Good Quality Control - Holes line up and are the correct size to fit together easily without redrilling or excessive fettling.
  • Loads of compatible accessories - From corners to end caps and posts we have lots of accessories to give the cleanest install possible.

Where Are Armco Beams Used?

Armco beams are one of the most commonly used Armco products and one of the most commonly used impact protection systems. You will find them in an array of settings from storage yards protecting pedestrian footways, to distribution hubs setup around fuel storage and other infrastructure.

In commercial car parks, these barriers are commonly seen separating rows of cars or shielding the structure of the building from potential impact.

Although you see these beams on the highway, the variant listed for sale on our website is not tested for this purpose, please call us if you require a product suitable for “on-road” use as we do have it available.

Buying The Right Size Armco Beam, What is Effective Length and Actual Length?

Our beams are all listed with their “effective” length; this is the length that sits between mounting points and does not include the additional 300mm of total overhang. When deciding how many barrier lengths you need you will need to keep this in mind.

It is also important to remember that the additional 300mm of the overhang is only applied once per run, as it gets lost with each additional length in the overlap between barrier sections.
