Plastic Car Park Height Restriction Bar

This plastic height restriction bar is the perfect way to warn drivers that their vehicle may be too tall for an area. The bar is made from a durable plastic that is suspended from metal galvanised chains. This allows the bar to be finely adjusted to just the right height.

Thanks to its retro-reflective banding this high visibility bar is hard to miss on the approach to a car park or structure. It gives drivers maximum visual warning of a height restriction. If they miss this visual clue, then the bar will make contact with their vehicle making a sound as it contacts the car.

As this bar is plastic it is not likely to cause any damage and is a far safer way to warn drivers of a height restriction than letting them make contact with something solid that will damage their vehicle.

Plastic Car Park Height Restrictor

Easy To Install

Supplied with two galvanised chains each measuring 2 metres long this height bar can be hung from girders, concrete ceilings or any other overhead structure.

With the proper tools and planning the unit can be installed within 30 minutes.

Easy To Adjust

The chains can be shortened where necessary to fine-tune the height of the barrier. The bars should be positioned just slightly lower than the lowest point in the structure. This way if someone unloads their vehicle inside they won’t find that they are suddenly scraping the ceiling.

Suitable For Use In Multiple Locations

You will mostly see these in multi-story car parks, although they can also be found in a variety of other locations. These include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Airports - Used to check vehicles entering an area with a low overhead structure. Warning the driver that there could be an issue.
  • Underground parking structures - Ensuring vehicles that are too tall do not enter.
  • Warehouses - ensuring vehicles will not make contact with racking or other obstacles.
  • Construction Sites - These height bars can be installed in temporary applications as well as permanent ones.

Can Be Installed Side By Side

Each bar is 950mm across and needs to be installed as central to the lane as possible. This ensures that drivers do not accidentally driver around the bar. For wider entrances, two can be used side by side to form a longer height bar.
