Side Winds Likely Ahead Road Sign - 581
The sign side winds sign to diagram 581 warns that strong side winds are common and may make driving more difficult.
You can expect to see this at exposed bridges, near shorelines or high altitudes. The sign may be used with ‘For’ and a distance plate for where strong winds are to be expected for extended times such as a viaduct or high point. Where drivers are only to expect gusts of wind on the road, this should not be used and the warning sign should generally be used sparingly as to maintain its effectiveness.
This warning sign is available at 600mm, with sizing up to 1500mm which can be arranged through our sales team if you call in work hours.

Durable Composite Base
