Train Crossing with a Gate or Barrier Sign 770
This diagram means there is an oncoming level crossing of a railroad, which is equipped with automatic or manual gates/barriers. Alternatively, it can be used for tramway crossings.
This sign is seen wherever railroads cross through a junction without the use of a tunnel or bridge- directly crossing over the road. The sign should alert road users to maintain a lower speed in case of the barrier or gate closing for a train. It may be used with a "Distance Ahead" plate with or without a left or right pointing arrow, an arrow pointing to the left or right on its own, or diagram 773 which is usually accompanied by wig-wag signals.
This warning sign comes from 450mm to 1500mm, with different roads requiring different sizes due to danger or speed variables. Please contact our sales team for alternate sizing.
