Sixton Empire Polar 88169-00L S3 HRO HI WR CI SRC Safety Boot
The Sixton Empire Polar safety boot is a boot designed especially for winter conditions. In the winter, the ground is notoriously slippier and less stable but the Empire helps combat this using a range of different technologies and features. This work boot is a high cut boot offering extra support and stability when working in slippy winter conditions protecting the ankle from rolls or awkward steps.
The Empire has a leather outer that helps keep the cold and wet out and keeps the warm in. This boot comes with a dual insulated removable insole which has been CI tested. It has a highly resistant piece of felt which helps keep the foot warm and dry regardless of the exterior conditions with an aluminium film to isolate the foot from the ground.
Like all of the Polar range, this boot comes with a ceramic toe cap resistant to an impact over 200J making this boot suitable for site work as well as specific cold weather working if required.

Provides an internal rigid ergonomic structure that adjusts the foot support from the heel controlling the ankle side movements.
Stabilactive
A plastic support which is inserted under the sole for the heel and arch of the foot, this improves stability and support of the foot arch improving foot posture
W.E.D.
An insulating tape with conductive carbon filaments. When in contact with the foot it ensures anti-staticity of the footwear over time.
HDRY Technology
A hydrophilic membrane with high perspiration capacity guarantees durability and high levels of performance.

Conformity Standards
- S3 - S3 Conformity is for any anti-static product with a protective toecap and midsole with a water repellent upper
- HRO - HRO conformity is a rating given to outsoles that have been tested for heat resistance against 300°C on contact
- HI - Given to products with uppers which have been tested for heat insulation resistance against minimum 150°C
- WR - Given to products that have been fully waterproof tested in a flex test
- CI - When the upper of a product is tested for cold insulation resistance from -17°C to -40°C
- SRC - A grip level rating which indicates the product has been tested against slips trips and falls in wet conditions
What is the Endurance Range?
The Endurance range is a range of boots that have been designed with precision and advanced materials to produce a lightweight, comfortable boot that can work in heavy-duty environments. The soleplate of the Endurance range is designed with a scuff cap to protect against wear and splits between the sole and upper. SRC testing has been done on this soleplate to ensure the highest levels of grip are achieved at all times.
